Reservations, Collection & Cancellation Policies

The Slaton Harvey House Bed & Breakfast is an intimate, historic property with five guest rooms. We strive to make each guest’s experience unique and meaningful with personal service and a made-to-order hot breakfast.

We require full payment plus tax by credit card to confirm your reservation.

CANCELLATIONS

As a small, non-profit operation, we can’t offer refunds for cancellations made less than fourteen days before arrival.

If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least fourteen (14) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation, or thirty (30) days prior when booking three (3) or more rooms or three (3) or more nights, and for some holidays, special events weekends, Texas Tech Football Weekends, and Texas Tech Graduations. We will then refund your deposit, less a $25 processing fee per room.

In the unlikely event that you must cancel, shorten your stay, or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation if you do so less than fourteen (14) days before your arrival date, or less than thirty (30) days when booking three or more rooms or a stay of three (3) or more night stay.

Reservations made through third-party websites, such as Expedia or Booking.com, are non-refundable from the time of booking.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Only registered guests may use the property. Arrangements must be made in advance for additional visitors. Charges may apply.

We do offer whole-house bookings for group events. Please call us for details.

-NO SMOKING inside or outside the building due to the historical nature of our building.

-NO PETS. We are sorry that we are unable to accommodate pets.

CHARGES FOR DAMAGES

Guests are responsible for the cost of repairing damaged bedroom or bathroom linens, fixtures, and furnishings. Because smoking and the use of candles or incense are prohibited in guest rooms, any violation will result in an automatic $200 charge.

Check in begins at 3:00 PM – 9:00PM

If you arrive outside of check-in times, please call to make other arrangements. We will reconfirm arrival times the day before arrival.

10:00 AM

AUTO COLLECT

We collect full payment for your stay at the time of booking.

CHILDREN & PETS

Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult. Children 5 and younger stay free. Pets are not allowed.

Your credit card information is stored and processed securely.
